Many residents have been asking about Ameren UE changing of wires to underground.  You will be contacted by Ameren UE specifically if you need to give easements to UE.  Otherwise existing easements will be used.  Ameren will put all of its wiring underground.  You will be responsible for putting wires from the back of your lot to your house underground by placing conduit, if you wish to have underground service.  You will be contacted by someone in the neighborhood about using a common contractor for the non-Ameren portion of the work.
